Can you notice that I am trying to squeeze in as many blog posts as possible? I have been on a blogging hiatus as of late, it wasn't planned, it just happened.
This is a 3-tier wedding cake inspired by another cake I have done. The cake was covered in white rolled fondant, with ivory lace and hues of champagne. The sugar roses on top were deep burgundy with a lit of purple shadowing. The cake was a "stand" style design, with a small lift under the bottom tier and 4 baroque fleur de lis style appliques as "legs." The cake was filled with our popular dulce de leche buttercream.
